Yesterday we loaded up the car and took the kiddos to see the Harlem Wizards Basketball team at our local High School. I was a little worries as it was a 7:00 pm game start which meant the kiddos could be tired cranky and would be getting to bed super late. Usually bed time is 7:30!
Thankfully, the sheer excitement of having the opportunity to watch their teachers and school faculty go up against the Wizards keep them wide awake and entertained enough to be on their best behavior!
Of course in the end, the Wizards won but it was a very close game.
After it was over we stayed around for photo ops and ball signing ops. You can tell by the smiles on their faces they were super stoked.
Hopefully the Wizards will return and we will have the opportunity to enjoy another game soon!
